Entering the Hoard (Ready-to-print PDF)

Inspired by the iconic scene of Bilbo sneaking through Smaug's lair, Entering the Hoard is an encounter/mini-game designed for Shadowdark RPG but can be easily converted to any OSR or 5e system.

In it, a group of adventurers is about to enter the treasure chamber of a terrifying dragon known as Black Dread, and must remain undetected in order to recover an important artifact and, while they are there, take as much treasure as their audacity and luck will allow.
